Dimaria Wins Expungement for a Pastor With 10 Criminal Arrests and Convictions
C lient had a rough childhood and grew up in a vicious cycle of substance abuse. Addiction had the best of her and she was making several bad decisions. All of her arrests were over 15 years ago. She gave her life to the Lord and turned her life around. She became a Pastor and is highly involved in helping people who suffer from substance abuse. She obtained several certificates of accomplishment for completing various programs to help assist people who struggle with substance abuse.
Client hired our office to help Expunge all of her arrests and convictions. The difficult part of this case is that she had a conviction for distribution of Cocaine and the Court can only expunge this type of offense if we prove rehabilitation and that the Judge should exercise his or her discretion favorably on behalf of the Petitioner.
Our office submitted an abundance of evidence to the Judge establishing how Client’s life changed. The Judge agreed with DiMaria and granted the Expungement!!!!
